Fisherman's Bungalow

Fisherman's Bungalow is a collection of simple wooden bungalows right on the waterfront, run by a local fishing family who have lived on Koh Sdach for generations. The bungalows are basic — wooden walls, tin roofs, mosquito nets, and fans — but the setting is extraordinary: built over the water on stilts, with the sea lapping underneath and fishing boats bobbing at the doorstep. The family cooks whatever was caught that morning, so breakfast might be grilled squid or fresh fish with rice. It is the most authentic island accommodation on Koh Sdach, offering a genuine window into the life of Cambodian fishing communities.
