Cambodia is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system. King Norodom Sihamoni has been head of state since 2004, serving a largely ceremonial role. The Prime Minister holds executive power. The National Assembly (125 seats) and Senate (62 seats) form a bicameral legislature. The Cambodian People's Party (CPP) has held power since 1979. Cambodia is a member of ASEAN, the UN, and the WTO.
