Tap water in Cambodia is not treated to international drinking standards. Most locals and expats drink bottled water or use filtration systems. Bottled water is extremely cheap ($0.25–0.50 for 1.5L). Ice in restaurants and bars is generally safe as it's commercially produced (look for tubular or cylindrical shapes). Crushed ice from unknown sources should be avoided.
