Cambodia's rainy season (May–October) brings afternoon showers but mornings are usually clear. Temple visits, food tours, and museums work year-round. Beach activities may be limited on some days. We recommend flexible plans and indoor alternatives during this period.
Yes! Cambodia has an excellent bus network connecting all major cities. Most routes take 3–7 hours. For island destinations, speedboats operate from Sihanoukville. Budget travelers can save significantly by taking buses instead of flying.
Cambodia uses both USD and Cambodian Riel. Bring USD in small denominations ($1, $5, $10). ATMs are available in major cities. Budget $50–100 in cash per person per day as backup, especially for rural areas where cards aren't accepted.
