About KKB Kun Khmer Boxing Club

KKB Boxing Club is perhaps the most authentic Kun Khmer experience available to tourists anywhere in Cambodia. Located in Battambang—the province that produces more champions than any other—training here is a window into the soul of Cambodian martial arts.

The gym is community-focused, welcoming local children alongside adult tourists. Seeing 8-year-olds drill techniques with focus and skill that rivals adult beginners is both humbling and inspiring.

Facilities are basic: an outdoor training area, worn but functional equipment, and no air conditioning. But what KKB lacks in polish, it makes up for in heart. The coaches are passionate about preserving Kun Khmer tradition.

At $5 per session and $30 monthly, KKB is Cambodia's cheapest quality training. The afternoon-only schedule (3:30-5:30pm) works well with morning sightseeing in Battambang.

Come here if you want the real deal. Leave your expectations of a modern gym at the door and embrace grassroots Cambodian martial arts.
