    Overview

Emirati citizens need a visa to enter Cambodia, but getting one is straightforward. You can apply online for an e-Visa before you fly, or get a visa on arrivalat the international airports and major land borders. The standard tourist visa (T-class) allows a 30-day stay and can be extended once.

    How to Get Your Visa

Option 1 — e-Visa (apply online before you fly)

    1. Apply at the official portal evisa.gov.kh with a passport scan and a digital photo.
    2. Pay the $30 fee (tourist visa) by card.
    3. Receive the e-Visa by email in about 3 business days; print two copies.
    4. Present it on arrival. The e-Visa is accepted at the international airports and the main land borders.

Option 2 — Visa on arrival

    1. On arrival at an international airport or major land border, complete the arrival form.
    2. Pay $30 (tourist) in USD cash and provide one passport photo (or pay a small fee if you don't have one).
    3. Receive the visa sticker and clear immigration.

    Which is better?

The e-Visa saves time at busy entry points and guarantees entry paperwork before you fly; visa on arrival is convenient if you decide late. Either way the tourist visa is 30 days, extendable once.

    Entry Requirements

    • Passport: valid for at least 6 months beyond arrival, with at least one blank page.
    • Photo: a passport-sized photo for the application (or the visa-on-arrival counter).
    • Funds & onward travel: proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds may be requested.
    • USD cash: Cambodia runs on US dollars — bring clean, undamaged bills for fees.

The tourist visa can be extended once for 30 days. For longer stays, consider the business (E-class) visa, which can be extended long-term.
