Bai Cha
$1.50–4បាយឆា
Bai Cha is Cambodia's version of fried rice, and it's a staple at every restaurant and food stall. Day-old jasmine rice is wok-fried with garlic, egg, soy sauce, and vegetables, with your choice of chicken, pork, shrimp, or tofu. It comes with a side of sliced cucumber, tomato, and a lime wedge. While similar to fried rice across Southeast Asia, the Khmer version tends to use less oil and more fish sauce for seasoning.
