Banh Jiao
$1.50–3បាញ់ចាវ
Banh Jiao is Cambodia's version of the Vietnamese bánh xèo — a large, thin, crispy crepe made from rice flour and turmeric, filled with pork, shrimp, bean sprouts, and sometimes mushrooms. The crepe is folded in half and served with a big plate of fresh lettuce, herbs, and pickled vegetables. You tear off a piece of crepe, wrap it in lettuce with herbs, and dip it in a sweet fish sauce. The contrast of crispy crepe, fresh herbs, and tangy sauce is spectacular.
