    Kirirom National Park

    Kirirom National Park is Cambodia's most accessible highland escape, located just 112 km southwest of Phnom Penh. Known locally as Preah Suramarit Kossomak Kirirom, the park is unique for its dense pine forests — the only natural pine habitat in Cambodia. The cool plateau climate, serene lakes, and jungle waterfalls make it a popular weekend retreat for Phnom Penh residents.

    Getting There

    Nearest city: Phnom Penh

    From Phnom Penh, take National Route 4 towards Sihanoukville and turn off at the Kirirom junction (about 80 km). The remaining 32 km road up to the park entrance is paved. Total journey: 2–2.5 hours by car.

    Hillside resort with A-frame cabins nestled among pine trees. Restaurant and activity center on-site.

    Park campgrounds$5–10/night

    Designated camping areas with basic facilities near the lake. Bring your own tent or rent on-site.
